The Omega NS-205 Series is an unmanaged industrial Ethernet switch designed for rugged environments. It provides network connectivity in applications requiring reliable data transmission over standard Ethernet protocols, supporting up to five workstations or devices within a local area network.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The series operates across an ambient temperature range of -40 °C ~ +75 °C and supports storage temperatures from -40 °C ~ +85 °C. It functions in relative humidity levels between 10% to 90% non-condensing (or 10% ~ 90% RH, non-condensing). The device features a compact profile with overall dimensions of 33 mm x 78 mm x 107 mm (W x L x H) and utilizes a plastic casing rated UL 94V-0 for flammability.
Performance specifications include support for IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u, and IEEE 802.3x standards with store-and-forward processing at wire speed switching. The switch provides a memory bandwidth of 1.4 Gbps and includes flow control via IEEE 802.3x and back pressure mechanisms.

- Port Configuration: Five shielded RJ-45 ports support 10/100 Base-T(X) auto-negotiation and auto MDI/MDI-X functionality.
