Supported Applications
The LCEB Series is a low-profile MiniBeam load cell offering exceptional accuracy in compression. With a 1" height, high repeatability and 100% creep testing, it is designed for controlled-environment measurement — in general, anywhere a digital readout is used — where small size, low creep and stable performance matter.
The cells span capacities from 5 lb (2.3 kgf) to 250 lb (114 kgf) and pair with compatible meters such as the DPIS, DP41-S and DP25B-S, making them a practical choice for test stands, laboratory force measurement and OEM weighing.
Operating Conditions & Performance
Accuracy is ±0.03% full scale, with repeatability of ±0.01% full scale and hysteresis of ±0.02% full scale. Rated output is 3 mV/V nominal.
Excitation is 10 Vdc (15V maximum) across a bridge resistance of 350 Ω ±3.5 Ω, with connection through a 1.5 m (5') 4-conductor shielded, color-coded cable. The aluminum-bodied cell operates over an ambient range of -55 to 90°C, and NIST-traceable calibration is included. The low-profile body stands 25.7 mm high with a 60.5 mm base length.
Configuration Options
The eight models differ almost entirely by rated capacity, from the 5 lb (2.3 kgf) LCEB-5 up to the 250 lb (114 kgf) LCEB-250. Every model shares the same electrical performance — ±0.03% full scale accuracy, 3 mV/V output and a 350 Ω bridge — so selection is driven by the force to be measured rather than by any change in signal behavior.
Physical size is likewise consistent: the lower-capacity models stand 25.7 mm tall, while the highest-capacity 250 lb (114 kgf) LCEB-250 is marginally taller at 25.9 mm.
