The Dwyer Model VBT-1 is a vibration transmitter designed to continuously detect vibration in rotating machinery and monitor for unusual operating conditions or potential failure. The unit converts detected vibration into an analog current signal, enabling integration with process control systems without requiring setup software.

The Model VBT-1 operates within a frequency range of 10 to 1000 Hz and provides an output signal of 4-20 mA. The device is rated for operation in any mounting orientation with a temperature limit of -22 to 221°F (-30 to 105°C). Performance specifications include an accuracy of < ±3%, nonlinearity of < ±0.25% of span, and repeatability of < 0.5%. The unit requires a power supply between 9.6-32 VDC for its 2-wire loop powered operation.
