Supported Applications

The Omega EXGG-RSX series provides extension grade thermocouple wires designed for Platinum (-)/Platinum-Rhodium (+) thermocouples, specifically ANSI Type RX and SX. Operating Conditions & Performance

The series supports maximum operating temperatures that vary by insulation material, as defined in the specification tables. Glass Braid insulated wires (EXGG) are rated for a maximum temperature of 200°C (392°F). Neoflon PFA and Neoflon FEP insulations also support up to 200°C (392°F), while Polyvinyl insulation is limited to 105°C (221°F).
