Supported Applications

The Omega OM-THA2-U is a multi-function unit that monitors temperature, relative humidity, and dew point. It records data and generates an alarm for any out-of-range conditions. Documented applications include supermarkets, food markets, convenience stores, restaurants, florists, greenhouses, laboratories, pharmaceutical storage facilities, refrigerated transport, cold chain facilities, and computer rooms.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The sensor probe operates within a temperature range of -40 to 60°C (-40 to 140°F) and an operating humidity range of 0 to 90% RH non-condensing. The base unit has an operating temperature range of 0 to 54°C (32 to 132°F) and a storage temperature range of -18 to 54°C (0 to 130°F). Performance specifications include ±1°C (±2°F) accuracy for temperature with 0.1°C (0.1°F) resolution, and ±2% RH accuracy for humidity with 0.1% RH resolution.

The unit features a user-selectable sample rate from 1 sec to 30 min. Memory capacity is rated at 8150 samples for temperature, humidity, and dew point, supporting data history storage of 2 hrs to 170 days depending on the sample rate. The system includes a battery backup using a 9V alkaline battery providing 25 hrs operation during power outage.
