Supported Applications

GG-T-TC-WIRE is duplex-insulated copper-constantan (Type T) thermocouple grade wire for dependable, high-accuracy temperature measurement. It is designed for demanding industrial, laboratory, and HVAC environments, and suits both replacement of existing wiring and new system builds.

Operating Conditions & Performance

Every wire is color coded to ANSI or IEC standards for straightforward installation:

• ANSI color code: positive blue, negative red, overall brown.
• IEC color code: positive brown, negative white, overall brown.

Insulation options carry temperature ratings up to 500°F (260°C) depending on the material selected. The wire is available in both standard and Special Limits of Error (SLE) accuracy grades to match the required precision.

Configuration Options

Choose solid or stranded copper-constantan conductors in a wide range of gauges, including 20 AWG, 24 AWG, 26 AWG, 28 AWG, and 30 AWG. Multiple insulation options are available to match temperature and environmental requirements: PFA, glass braid, polyvinyl, Kapton®, Neoflon, FEP, and TFE.

Key Product Differences

Variants are distinguished by insulation material, conductor construction (solid or stranded), gauge, and accuracy grade. Insulation is the primary driver of the temperature ceiling; conductor construction governs flexibility and routing.
