Supported Applications

The Omega RDXL6SD-USB Series is a six-channel handheld temperature data logger designed for portable monitoring and recording of thermal processes. The unit accepts four thermocouple inputs via miniature connectors and two RTD inputs using spring clamp terminals, supporting scheduled or manual logging with alarm indication per channel.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The series operates within an ambient temperature range of 0 to 50°C (32 to 122°F). Measurement capabilities span multiple sensor types: Type J (-200 to 1200°C), Type K (-200 to 1372°C), Type T (-200 to 400°C), Type R and S (0 to 1768°C), Type N (0 to 1300°C), Type E (-200 to 1000°C), and RTD (-200 to 850°C). Accuracy is specified as ±0.1% or 0.8°C for thermocouples and ±1.0% or 1.0°C for RTDs.

• Resolution: 0.1° for temperatures below 1000°C or °F; 1° for temperatures above 1000°C or °F
• Display Response Time: 1 second
• Data Logging Interval: 1 to 86,400 seconds (1 day)
• Battery Life: 32 hours logging with full display brightness; up to 96 hours in power saving mode

Configuration Options

The RDXL6SD-USB features a 72 mm (2.83") resistive touch TFT display with backlighting and supports data storage on SD cards up to 32 GB capacity, including a supplied 4 GB card. Data is logged in .csv format for Excel import.
