Supported Applications
The HHF141 Series is a precision handheld rotating metal-vane anemometer built for accurate air-velocity measurement in demanding environments. Its rugged metal probe and vane tolerate airstreams with a wide range of humidity, temperature and contaminants, making the instrument well suited to manufacturing, laboratory work, computer rooms, environmental control and flow-hood monitoring.
The instrument ships complete with a vane probe, three extension rods (flexible, straight and with handle), a 1.5 m (5') cable, three "AA" alkaline batteries, a hard carrying case, an NIST calibration certificate and an operator's manual.
Operating Conditions & Performance
Accuracy is ±1.0% of reading ±1-digit, with a resolution of 0.01 MPS. The 25 mm (1") probe covers 1.5 to 35.00 MPS, while the 70 mm (2¾") probe covers 0.2 to 40.00 MPS.
The probes are rated for service from -20 to 100°C, and the instrument itself operates from 0 to 50°C. Power comes from three "AA" alkaline batteries. Outputs available include USB communications and a 0 to 5 Vdc analog signal. The handheld body measures 165 x 83 x 38 mm, and the series is CE and RoHS marked with NIST calibration included.
Configuration Options
The lineup is defined first by probe size. The HHF141A carries the 25 mm (1") vane probe, while the HHF141B carries the larger 70 mm (2¾") probe, each covering its own velocity span as noted above.
Either base model can be ordered with the -V suffix for the 0 to 5 Vdc voltage output, giving the HHF141A-V and HHF141B-V variants. Additional options add the -USB communications suffix and the -PB protective boot and splash-proof seals.
