Supported Applications
The Dwyer Series PRV Pneumatic Roller Vibrators are designed to prevent material jams in pipe delivery systems. The series is applied for bridge-break operations and concrete injection conditions.
Operating Conditions & Performance
Vibration frequency ranges from 11,000 V.P.M. on the PRV-4 model at 87 psi (6 bar) to 36,000 V.P.M. on the PRV-1 model at 87 psi (6 bar). Force output varies by model and pressure input; for example, the PRV-1 delivers 241 lbf (1070 N) at 29 psi (2 bar), increasing to 948 lbf (4200 N) at 87 psi (6 bar).
The series operates within a supply pressure range of 29 to 87 psi (2 to 6 bar). The temperature limit is specified as 212°F (100°C), and the noise level ranges from 75-100 dBA.

Configuration Options
The Series PRV features a special aluminum body equipped with a roller and ring containing multi-nozzles, tightly closed by plastic side covers. Vibration is generated when the roller, pushed by compressed air, runs in a rotary motion to produce centrifugal force.
Process Connections
Air connections vary by model size:
- PRV-1: 1/8" BSPT female with 1/4" OD push-to-connect adapter.
- PRV-2 and PRV-3: 1/4" BSPT female with 1/4" OD push-to-connect adapter.
- PRV-4: 3/8" BSPT female with 3/8" OD push-to-connect adapter.
Key Product Differences
The series consists of four distinct models (PRV-1 through PRV-4) that differ in physical dimensions, vibration frequency, force output, and air consumption. As the model number increases from 1 to 4, overall size and weight increase while maximum operating frequency decreases.
- Dimensions: Overall length (Dimension B) ranges from 3-27/64 [86.92] inches on PRV-1 to 6-5/16 [160.34] inches on PRV-4.
- Air Consumption: At 29 psi (2 bar), consumption ranges from 3.53 cfm (100 l/min) for the PRV-1 to 13.07 cfm (370 l/min) for the PRV-4.
