Supported Applications

The PHH-7000-Series is a family of OMEGAETTE microprocessor-based, waterproof handheld water-quality testers for fast, accurate field measurement of water chemistry. The pocket-style instruments are designed for on-site checks where portability and quick, one-hand operation matter.

Depending on the model, the series measures:

• pH and mV/ORP for acidity, alkalinity, and oxidation-reduction potential.
• Conductivity, TDS (total dissolved solids), and salt content.
• Temperature, with automatic temperature compensation applied to the readings.

These capabilities suit drinking-water, aquaculture, environmental, pool and spa, and general laboratory and process water testing. User-replaceable sensors and one-key calibration keep the instruments serviceable in routine field use.

Operating Conditions & Performance

Measurement ranges span pH from -2 to 16 and mV readings up to 1000 mV, with temperature covered from 0 to 90 °C (32 to 194 °F). Conductivity is measured from 0 to 1999 µS and 0.01 to 19.99 mS, with TDS and salt each reported from 0 to 999 ppm and 1.00 to 9.99 ppt.

Accuracy and resolution highlights include:

• pH: accuracy of ±0.01 + 1 digit at a resolution of 0.01 pH.
• mV: accuracy of ±2 + 1 digit at a resolution of 1 mV.
• Temperature: accuracy of ±0.3 °C (0.54 °F) at a resolution of 0.1 °C (0.2 °F).
• Conductivity, TDS, and salt: accuracy of ±2% FS.

Automatic temperature compensation operates from 0 to 90 °C, and pH calibration uses standard pH 4.00, 7.00, and 10.01 buffers. Convenience features include a large LCD, data hold, min/max, a low-battery indicator, and auto power-off after 10 minutes of non-use.

The housing is IP67 rated and waterproof. The meter measures 195 x 40 x 36 mm and each unit runs on four 1.5 Vdc AAA/UM-4 batteries. The instruments are CE marked and carry a one-year warranty.

Configuration Options

The series comprises three models that differ in which parameters they measure and in the sensor they accept:

• PHH-7011 is a pH pocket tester, measuring pH, mV, and temperature with a replaceable pH electrode.
• CDH-7021 is a conductivity pocket tester, focused on conductivity, TDS, and salt measurement with a replaceable conductivity sensor.
• PHH-7200 is a combined pH and conductivity tester that automatically recognizes which sensor is installed, so a single meter can perform either pH or conductivity measurement.

All three use replaceable sensors and come in a carrying case with the buffer or standard solutions required for calibration, making sensor swaps and recalibration straightforward in the field.

The series is ordered as three model numbers:

• PHH-7011 — pH pocket tester.
• CDH-7021 — conductivity pocket tester.
• PHH-7200 — pH and conductivity tester.

Replacement and optional items include the PHE-7011 replacement pH electrode, the CDE-7021 replacement conductivity sensor, the ORE-7011 optional ORP electrode, PHA-4, PHA-7, and PHA-10 buffer solutions, CDSA-1413 conductivity solution, and MN2400 replacement AAA batteries.
