Supported Applications
The Omega iServer 2 Series is a virtual chart recorder and webserver designed for industrial data acquisition and monitoring. The series supports applications in clean rooms, computer rooms, HVAC systems, hospitals, laboratories, semiconductor fabs, electronic assembly, warehousing, museums, manufacturing facilities, farm animal shelters, greenhouses, pharmaceutical operations, food processing, and storage environments.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The iServer 2 unit operates within an ambient temperature range of 0 to 60 °C (32 to 140 °F). The internal backup battery supports operation from -18 to 55 °C (-0.4 to 131 °F), while the AC power adapter is rated for 0 to 40 °C (32 to 104 °F). Storage temperature ranges from -40 to 85 °C (-40 to 185 °F).
When configured with compatible Omega Link Smart Probes, the series supports measurement of Temperature, Relative Humidity, Barometric Pressure, Dewpoint, Humidex, and Heat Index. Performance specifications for the SP-003 Series probe include:

The device features internal data storage up to 11 GB. At a sample rate of 1 second (max), memory capacity supports approximately 4 years with two active sensors or 2 years with four active sensors.
Configuration Options
The iServer 2 Series offers configurable models based on display presence, I/O capabilities, and power options. The series is housed in a rugged stainless steel enclosure measuring 101.6 mm L x 155.6 mm W x 330 mm H (4 in. L x 6.13 in. W x 12.99 in. H), weighing 655 g (1.44 lbs.) including the battery.
Model Configurations:
- iS2-THB-B (Basic): M12 Smart Probe compatibility, no display, no relay or digital I/O, powered by AC to 12 V DC Adaptor.
- iS2-THB-ST (Standard): Includes a 4.3" LCD display, Relay and Digital I/O, powered by AC to 12 V DC Adaptor.
- iS2-THB-DP (Deluxe Probe): Features the 4.3" LCD display, Relay and Digital I/O, with Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability in addition to AC power.
Sensor Connectivity:
- The series accepts up to two Omega Link Smart Probes via an M12 8-Pin connector. Dual probe functionality requires the PN: M12-MT-079-2F Y-splitter cable (sold separately).
- Compatible probes include SP-003 Series, SP-004 Series, SP-005 Series, SP-006 Series, SP-010 Series, SP-014 Series, and SP-016 Series.
I/O and Communication:
- Standard and Deluxe models include two contact inputs (TTL 0.5 mA) and one open collector output (150 mA @ 30 VDC).
