Supported Applications
The Omega TRCIII Series is a high precision ice point™ Calibration Reference Chamber designed to maintain a stable reference temperature of 0°C (32°F) using freezing water. The series serves as an on-site calibration standard for thermocouple, RTD, and thermistor probes.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The TRCIII Series operates within an ambient temperature range of 2 to 32°C (35 to 90°F). The unit maintains a process reference point at 0°C (32°F) with accuracy values stated as ±0.1°C or better. Media compatibility is limited to distilled, deionized water; the unit must not be allowed to freeze completely, as damage will result.
Configuration Options
The series offers configurable power supply options and optional accessories for expanded calibration workflows:
- Voltage Models: TRCIII (120 Vac operation) and TRCIII-220 (220 Vac operation).
- Power Requirements: 115/220 V, 60 Hz, 100 Watts.

Key Product Differences
Variants within the TRCIII Series differ primarily by input voltage:
- TRCIII: ice point™ reference 120 Vac operation.
- TRCIII-220: ice point™ reference 220 Vac operation.
The CAL-3 option provides NIST-traceable calibration. TRP reference probes are available in standard lengths of 12" for Types J, K, T, and E, or 6" for Types R, S, B, C, G, and D; longer leads (e.g., -24, -36) are configurable at additional cost.
