Supported Applications

The Dwyer Mounting Options series provides installation accessories, brackets, and tools designed for pressure gages, manometers, flowmeters, and pitot tubes. These components facilitate the secure mounting of instruments such as Magnehelic®, Minihelic® II, Capsuhelic®, Photohelic®, and Series 631B transmitters to various surfaces.

Documented applications include:

• Flush or surface mounting of pressure gages (Magnehelic®, Capsuhelic®, Photohelic®) on horizontal or vertical panels
• Magnetic attachment for acrylic plastic gages and manometers to metallic surfaces
• DIN rail installation using aluminum rails
• Installation of Dwyer pitot tubes in sheet metal ducts via step drill holes
• Sealing rubber tubing during leakage tests with pinch clamps
• Holding thermometers and terminal tubes with stainless steel wire holders
• Cleaning manometer tubes using specialized brushes

Operating Conditions & Performance

This series consists of mechanical mounting accessories rather than active sensing instruments; therefore, no measurement ranges, accuracy classes, or electrical performance specifications apply. The components are engineered to support the physical installation and retention of Dwyer instrumentation.

Specific dimensional data is provided for select items:

• A-360: Aluminum DIN rail, 1 m length
• A-356: Gage plug with retainer loop designed for 1/4" ID tubing
• A-366: Manometer cleaning brush, 1/4" OD x 2-1/8" long

Materials are specified per model to match the intended mounting environment and instrument compatibility.

Configuration Options

The series offers a range of configurations tailored to specific gage models, surface types, and installation methods. Variants include flush mount kits, stand-hang brackets, magnetic holders, and specialized tools.

Mounting Styles & Housings

• Flush Mount: Brackets for Capsuhelic® gages (A-298), Magnehelic® gages (A-300, A-464, A-464-SS), and Series 631B transmitters (A-370). Includes stainless steel options (A-464-SS) for flush mount kits.
• Surface Mount: Plates and brackets for Magnehelic® gages (A-368, A-299), Photohelic® gages (A-371), Minihelic® II gages (A-497), and Capsu-Photohelic® gages.
• Stand-Hang: Aluminum brackets for Minihelic® II gage (A-362) and Magnehelic® gage (A-369).

Magnetic & Specialized Holders

• A-352: Magneticlip, slip-on magnetic holder for acrylic plastic gages (per pair)
• A-353: Flat style magnetic mounting with 6-32 machine screw and boots insert
• A-354: Edge style magnetic mounting with 10-32 machine screw and boots insert
• A-364: Magnet assembly for 1222 manometer (2 required; 3 required for 1222-36 and M-1000)

Tools & Maintenance Accessories

• A-397: Rugged step drill for sheet metal ducts, drilling holes from 3/16" through 1/2" in 1/16" increments without a centerpunch
• A-351: Pinch clamp to seal rubber tubing
• A-357: Thermometer and terminal tube holder made of SS wire
• A-360: Aluminum DIN rail, 1 m

Key Product Differences

Variants differ primarily by the target instrument model, mounting method (flush vs. surface), material composition, and finish.

• Magnehelic® Gage Mounting: Available as flat aluminum brackets for flush mount (A-300), steel with gray hammertone epoxy finish for surface/flush combinations (A-299, A-464), and stainless steel flush mount kits (A-464-SS).
• Capsuhelic® Gage Mounting: Flat aluminum bracket for flush mounting Capsuhelic®, 603A, 605, and 3000MR models (A-298); steel with gray hammertone epoxy finish for surface-mounted brackets holding the gage or Series 631B transmitter (A-370).
• Photohelic® Gage Mounting: Surface mounting bracket compatible with horizontal or vertical surfaces; also supports Capsu-Photohelic® gages on vertical surfaces only (A-371).
• Minihelic® II Gage Mounting: Aluminum stand-hang brackets (A-362) and steel surface mounting brackets with satin black finish (A-497).
• Magnetic Options: Distinguish between flat style (A-353, 6-32 screw) and edge style (A-354, 10-32 screw) magnetic mountings.
