The Dwyer Model 472A-1 is a Dual Input Thermocouple Thermometer designed to measure up to two temperature inputs simultaneously. The instrument accepts Type J, K, and T thermocouples equipped with mini-jack connectors. It displays both individual temperature readings or one input alongside the differential temperature between the two channels.

Configuration Options
The Model 472A-1 is powered by a user-replaceable 9 V alkaline battery (installed non-functional). The unit includes an automatic shut-off feature after 20 minutes of inactivity to conserve power, which can be disabled via the hold and power buttons. Compatible handheld thermocouples include general purpose probes (models 1718-0001 for Type J and 1718-0002 for Type K) rated for use up to 800°F, as well as penetration probes (models 1718-0014 for Type J and 1718-0015 for Type K).
