Supported Applications

The Omega OM-CP-PRTC110 is a differential pressure and thermocouple temperature data logger designed for factory and laboratory applications. The device measures and records up to 10,922 measurements per channel using non-volatile solid-state memory.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The OM-CP-PRTC110 operates within an ambient temperature range of -20 to 80°C (-4 to 176°F) and a humidity rating of 0 to 95% RH, non-condensing. The unit is powered by a user-replaceable 3.6V lithium battery (included), with a real-time clock module extending battery life to greater than 2 years.

Pressure Performance

The series offers two pressure ranges with corresponding resolutions and maximum pressures:

0 to 2 inH₂O range: Resolution of 0.002 inH₂O; Maximum Pressure -2 to 4 inH₂O
0 to 5 inH₂O range: Resolution of 0.005 inH₂O; Maximum Pressure -2 to 8 inH₂O

Pressure accuracy is specified as ±5% FSR max at 25°C over 1 year.

Temperature Performance

Thermocouple temperature performance varies by type. Accuracy specifications are based on a 3 m (9.8') 24 AWG thermocouple:

Type J, K, T, E, N: Resolution 0.1°C; Accuracy ±0.5°C
Type R, S, B: Resolution 0.5°C; Accuracy ±2.0°C

The internal channel temperature sensor provides a resolution of 0.1°C with an accuracy of ±0.5°C.

mV Input Performance

For mV input, the range is -75 mV to 75 mV with a resolution of 5μV and an accuracy of ±20μV.

Configuration Options

The OM-CP-PRTC110 series supports configurable pressure ranges and optional NIST calibration certificates. The device features ABS plastic housing measuring 41 H x 68 W x 20 mm D (1.6 x 2.7 x 0.8") plus connective tube, with a weight of 250 g (8.8 oz).

Process Connections

The logger utilizes REF and IN ports via ⅛" ID, ⅜" Max OD polyurethane tubing for pressure measurement.

Communication & Software

Data retrieval is performed via PC serial or USB interface (interface cable required) at 57,600 baud. The system requires Windows software to operate the data logger and convert it into a real-time strip chart recorder.
