Supported Applications
The Series DCT600 Timer Controller is a timing system designed for pulse-jet type dust collectors or pneumatic conveying systems. It supports both continuous and on-demand cleaning applications.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The controller operates within an ambient temperature range of -40 to 140°F (-40 to 60°C) per the series data sheet, with a storage temperature limit of -40 to 176°F (-40 to 80°C). The unit is rated for indoor use and must be installed in a weather-proof enclosure for outside applications. Power requirements are 85 to 270 VAC at 50 or 60 Hz, with power consumption of 1.2 W.
Timing performance includes an On Time range of 50 ms to 500 ms and an Off Time range of 1 s to 180 s. The series provides ±5% accuracy for both On Time and Off Time settings, with enhanced board circuitry synchronizing the on-time pulse to the power line for ±1 msec stability.
The solenoid supply is rated at 300 VA max (pilot rating C300). Protection includes a Type 3 AG fast acting 3 Amp @ 250V fuse. The unit weighs 9 oz (255 g).
Configuration Options
The series is available in configurations providing 4, 6, 10, 22, or 32 output channels. For installations requiring fewer channels than the board provides, a shorting plug (DCT610) or dip switches (DCT632) allows selection of the last used channel.
Time-on and time-off settings are selected using two potentiometers. High-limit and low-limit control inputs are provided for use with on-demand systems; when used in a continuous mode, the high-limit input is jumpered. The control circuitry, including control inputs and the last channel jumper, is isolated from the power line.
Electrical connections utilize a "Euro" style connector system at the lower edge of the board that accepts wire sizes from 14 to 22 gages (copper only). Terminals should be torqued to 5 in. lb. The fuse is located on the board and must be replaced with the proper type.
Available options include:
- -L: Mounting bracket for field retrofits (4, 6, 10 channel models only)
- -WP: Weatherproof housing
Key Product Differences
The series includes specific model numbers corresponding to the number of channels:
- DCT604: 4 channels
- DCT606: 6 channels
- DCT610: 10 channels (includes shorting plug for channel selection)
- DCT622: 22 channels
- DCT632: 32 channels (uses dip switches for last channel selection)
Physical dimensions vary by model count. The 4, 6, and 10 Channel Models measure 6-1/4 [158.75] width x 4-1/4 [107.95] height with a depth of 1-23/64 [34.53]. The 22 and 32 Channel Models measure 8-1/4 [209.55] width x 6-1/4 [156.75] height with a depth of 1-3/16 [30.16].
Agency approvals include CE and cULus.
