The Omega DFG35 Advanced Digital Force Gauge is designed for tension and compression force testing applications. As an essential component of a force testing system, the series supports configurations that typically include a test stand, grips, and data collection software.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The DFG35 series covers measurement ranges from 0.12 to 500 lbf (0.5 to 2500 N). Accuracy is specified as 0.3% of full scale ± 1 digit, with a sample rate of 2000 Hz. The device features a backlit graphic LCD that displays large characters and provides access to configurable parameters via an on-screen menu.

Performance specifications include the following:

Safe Overload: 150% of full scale (display shows "OVER" at 110% and above).
Battery Life: Up to 7 hours continuous use with backlight on or 24 hours with backlight off.
Full Scale Deflection: All models are 0.25 mm (0.01") except DFG35-0.12, which is 0.13 mm (0.05").

The gauge includes a multi-step low battery indicator and shuts off automatically when power is too low.

Configuration Options
