Supported Applications

The Omega Accessories for Standard Size Thermocouple Connectors series provides hardware components designed to support, secure, and protect standard size thermocouple connectors. These accessories are compatible with a broad range of connector families including USTW, OSTW, HSTW, GST, OGP, OTP, DTC, HGST, NOX, NHX, NHHX, UHX, HFSTW, DST, and SMP series.

Applications include organizing thermocouple extension wires within enclosures using wire caddies (spool caps), securing probes with tube clamps for single or dual elements, providing strain relief via standard tubing and silicone grommets, and mounting connectors to panels. The series also includes safety clips, rubber boots, crimp style bushings, ferrite core cable clamps, and assembly tools.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The accessories are engineered for use with specific thermocouple types where applicable. Wire caddies support calibration insertions of J, K, T, E, R/S, N, or U (Uncompensated). Tube clamps accommodate probe diameters designated by model suffixes: '116' for 1/8", '18' for 1/4", '316' for 3/8", and '14' for 1/2".

Standard strain relief tubing is available in inside diameters of 3/8" (model suffix '316'), 1/4" ('18'), or 3/2" ('332'). Clamp grommets are specified as silicone, 0.25" long, with inside diameters ranging from 0.79 mm (.032) to 3.18 mm (.125). Crimp style bushings offer various internal and external dimensions (Dia A-ID through Dia E) corresponding to probe sizes such as 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 3.0mm, 4.5mm, 6.0mm, and others.

Configuration Options

The series offers a comprehensive selection of hardware configurations tailored to specific connector types and installation requirements:

• Wire Caddy (Spool Cap): Models OSTW-SC-(*) for USTW, OSTW, HSTW; GST-SC-(*) for GST.
• Tube Clamps: Single element models X-BRLK-(*) and dual element DX-BRLK-(*) compatible with USTW, OSTW, OGP, GST, HSTW, HGST, OTP. Probe diameter options include 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2".
• Standard Strain Relief Tubing: Models SSRT-316-(*) (brass), SSRT-18-(*) (stainless steel), and SSRT-332-(*) compatible with OST, OSTW, HSTW, USTW, OGP, OTP, GST, HGST, DTC.
• Cable Clamps: PCLM for USTW/OSTW/OGP/HSTW/OTP; PCLM-DTC for DTC; PCLM-GST for GST/HGST. Ferrite Core Cable Clamps (PCLM-FT) are available for OSTW, HSTW, OGP, HGST, GST, OTP.
• Mounting Hardware: Safety Clips (SFCL), Round Hole Panel Mounting Brackets (RSACL), and standard Panel Mounting Brackets (SACL for USTW/OSTW/OGP/GST/HSTW/HGST; TACL for OTP).
• Rubber Boots: Models SRB and SRBS compatible with USTW, OSTW, OGP, HSTW.
• Crimp Style Bushing: Available in brass ('B') or stainless steel ('S'), with 'CR' numbers indicating compatible probe diameters (e.g., CR1.5MM, CR062, CR3.0MM). Compatible connectors include OST, OSTW, HST, HSTW, GST, UST, USTW, HFSTW, OGP, OTP, NOX, NHX, NHHX, UHX, and DTC.
• Clamp Grommets: Silicone grommets (SSRT-CC series) for OSTW-CC male or female connectors in various inside diameters (.032" to .125").
• Assembly Tools: Models OST-CC-TOOL and SMP-CC-TOOL.
