Supported Applications
The Omega LC8300 Series consists of compact, through-hole compression load cells designed for measuring compressive forces. The series is engineered with a low profile and rugged industrial design suitable for applications including clamping forces and bolt loading.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The LC8300 operates within an ambient temperature range of 16 to 71°C (60 to 160°F) and a process temperature range of -54 to 121°C (-65 to 250°F). The load cells feature a nominal output signal of 2 mV/V with an excitation voltage requirement of 10 Vdc, up to a maximum of 15V. Performance specifications include an accuracy class of ±0.5% FSO and repeatability of ±0.1% FSO.
Thermal effects are specified as Zero: ±0.009% FSO/°C and Span: ±0.018% FSO/°C, with a zero balance tolerance of ±2.0% FSO. Each unit is supplied complete with 5-point NIST-traceable calibration data and includes 59 kΩ shunt data.
