Supported Applications

The Omega OM-CP-TCTEMP1000 is a rugged, submersible thermocouple-based temperature recorder designed for harsh environments. As part of the NOMAD® Family, this stand-alone device features non-volatile solid-state memory and operates as a portable data logger with dual-channel capability: one internal ambient channel and one remote thermocouple input.

The series is engineered to function in waterproof conditions up to 45 m submersion. It connects via serial or USB (interface cable required) to convert a PC into a strip chart recorder, allowing for graphical or tabular data display and export to text or Microsoft Excel files.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The OM-CP-TCTEMP1000 operates within an ambient temperature range of -40 to 80°C (-40 to 176°F) with a humidity rating of 0 to 100% RH non-condensing. The device is powered by an included 3.6V lithium battery, providing typical life of 1 year at a 1-minute reading rate @ 25°C.

The internal channel covers -40 to 80°C (-40 to 176°F) with a resolution of 0.1°C and accuracy of ±0.5°C (0 to 50°C). The real-time clock maintains an accuracy of ±1 minute/month at 20°C.
