The S35 and S45 food safety thermometer family combines non-toxic spirit thermometers for cold-storage monitoring and hot-food holding. These analog instruments provide continuously visible temperature indication without batteries or external power and offer application-specific ranges and mounting configurations for food-service equipment.
S35 economy refrigerator/freezer models use non-toxic red spirit fill in 3.5 inch polycarbonate cases. Available configurations include:
- hanging
- screw-bracket
- snap-bracket
- magnetic-back
- stick-on-back
These thermometers can be mounted with vertical or horizontal reading orientations. Standard scales provide direct temperature indication, while Safe-Zone scales add blue zones identifying recommended storage temperatures for refrigerated and frozen food.
The S45 model is a hot-food holding thermometer from 100 to 200°F (40 to 90°C) that uses a clear 4.5 inch polycarbonate case, non-toxic red spirit fill, and a screwed mounting bracket.
