Guided Wave Radar Sensors
Guided Wave Radar Sensors provide continuous level measurement by sending radar pulses along a probe and detecting the reflection from the material surface. Products in this category span Omega Engineering guided wave radar transmitters with 4 to 20 mA output and rod, coaxial, or cable-and-weight probe configurations.
Applications include:
- Continuous liquid level measurement in tanks and vessels
- Applications with vapor, foam, agitation, or changing process conditions
- Tall tanks using cable or weighted probes
- PLC, display, and control-panel integration through analog output
Choose guided wave radar when a probe can be installed and when radar measurement along the probe is preferred over floats, hydrostatic transmitters, or free-space radar.
