Supported Applications

The OM-CP-HITEMP140X2-FP Series are High Temperature Dual Channel Data Loggers with two remote temperature probes and a stainless steel body. Their dual probes allow simultaneous temperature monitoring at two points, which suits applications such as oven mapping and other high-temperature profiling where two zones must be compared during the same cycle.

The loggers are available either with two flexible probes or with one flexible probe combined with a stainless steel bendable probe, giving the flexibility to reach and shape a sensor to fixtures, ducts, or product surfaces while a second probe monitors a reference point.

Operating Conditions & Performance

Both channels deliver a resolution of 0.01°C (0.02°F) and a calibrated accuracy of ±0.1°C (±0.18°F). Measurement range depends on the probe: the flexible probe covers -60 to 260°C (-76 to 500°F), while the stainless steel bendable probe covers -200 to 350°C (-328 to 662°F).

• Reading rate: 1 reading every second up to 1 reading every 24 hours.
• Memory: 32,767 readings, or 16,383 readings in trigger settings mode.
• Body (ambient) operating temperature: -40 to 140°C (-40 to 284°F).
• Enclosure rating: IP68.
• Humidity: 0 to 100% RH.
• Power: 3.6V high-temperature lithium battery included; user replaceable.

The logger body measures 48 H x 24.6 mm dia (1.89 x 0.97") in 316 stainless steel, and the flexible probe is 2.5 mm dia (0.1") on a 183 cm (72") length. Wetted materials are 316 stainless steel and PEEK. The series carries CE and RoHS, with optional NIST calibration and optional 5 YEAR WARRANTY, and requires the OM-CP-IFC400 USB docking station or OM-CP-IFC406 multiplexer interface for operation.

Warning: the product is rated for use up to 140°C; the battery may leak or explode if heated above 150°C (302°F).

All three models share the same dual-channel logger body, accuracy, and resolution; they differ in the pairing of probes.

Two flexible probes

The OM-CP-HITEMP140X2-FP-72 is supplied with two 183 cm (72") flexible probes for monitoring two remote points with identical, highly routable sensors. This model weighs 115 g (4.1 oz).

Flexible plus bendable probe

The OM-CP-HITEMP140X2-FP-72-PT-1 and OM-CP-HITEMP140X2-FP-72-PT-5 pair one 183 cm (72") flexible probe with a 61 cm (24") stainless steel bendable probe, differing in the bendable probe tip: the PT-1 uses a 2.5 cm (1") tip and the PT-5 uses a 12.7 cm (5") tip. These configurations weigh 110 g (3.9 oz) and add the bendable probe's wider -200 to 350°C (-328 to 662°F) range.
