Supported Applications
The Omega DPG104 and DPG104S series are DC-powered digital pressure gauges with dual alarms, designed to monitor hydraulic fluids. The product overview identifies use in hydro-power, water, petroleum, chemical, mechanical, and other industries. These integrated units measure pressure via resistance on an isolation membrane, amplify the signal, convert it to a digital format for display, and provide control outputs.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The series measures within a range of -0.1~0~100MPa. Accuracy is specified as ±0.25% for gauge pressure >5psi and ±0.5% FS for all others, including absolute, compound gauge, and vacuum ranges. Stability is rated at ≤0.1% FS per year with a response time of < 30ms.
Operating conditions include an ambient temperature range of -30°C ~ 80°C and a process temperature range of -40°C ~150°C. The enclosure rating is IP40, suitable for environments with ≤90% Relative Humidity. Wetted materials are SS316. A high-temperature accessory should be selected if the fluid being measured exceeds 80°C.
Vertical installation is required when the measuring range is less than 100kPA. The series supports an overload pressure of 150%~200%. For electrical connections, shielded wire must be used with short connection lengths to avoid interference; when using mini hoses, ground the shell separately.
Key Specifications
- Display: High resolution, 4-digit LED (0.56" screen size)
- Housing Dimensions: 100mm diameter standard gauge dial; overall height is 45.5 mm.
- Power Supply: 13 to 30VDC
- Process Connection: 1/4 NPT Male
Configuration Options
The DPG104 and DPG104S series offer configurable alarm outputs and display options. The units feature dual SPDT relays for alarm settings, providing normal acting (normally closed) and reverse acting (normally open) output. As a fail-safe measure, the normally closed relay output enables the alarm.
Programming is accessible via an on-board menu using SET buttons to adjust parameters including:
- AL1H / AL1L: Switch 1 pull-on and drop-out values
- AL2H / AL2L: Switch 2 drop-in and drop-out values
- FILT: Filter coefficient to prevent spurious pulses triggering switch inputs
To offset the gauge back to zero, press the middle button for 5 seconds. The series supports a model number guide format of DPG104 - <MODEL> - <OPTIONS>. Available variants include models with suffixes indicating specific ranges and configurations (e.g., A, G, CG, V).
Key Product Differences
The series includes two primary model families: DPG104 and DPG104S. Both share the same core specifications for measurement range, accuracy, power supply, and alarm functionality as documented in the family manual.
Variants are distinguished by their specific pressure ranges and output configurations encoded in the part number (e.g., 005G, 015A, V100G). The DPG104S variants follow a similar naming convention to the DPG104 but represent distinct SKUs within the series envelope. All listed models maintain the standard 1/4 NPT Male process connection and SS316 wetted materials unless otherwise specified by an option code not detailed in this bundle.

Good pressure gauge
This works as we expected it to. It measures pressure and sends a signal to record with our data acquisition set up.

I am using a DPG104-500G to track Nitrogen pressure. When I apply pressure the readout responds, but the analog output shows a value 13130 and does not vary.
Stickman are you measuring the mA across the first two pins on the terminal block on the back of the unit and reading 13.130 mA ? You might have to contact us at pressure@omega.com or 1800 622 2378 so we can troubleshoot the unit with you. Thank you

the connectors for the 4 - 20 mA output are in the package or i need to buy them separatly ?
AllanF the connectors come with the pressure gauge, you need not buy them separately. Thank you

How much power does a gauge need ? / How much does a gauge consume ?
Dear Allan, DC powered, Power Supply: 13 to 30VDC
Typically these gauges consume around 10 mA or so, but you may use a power supply with greater amperage.

I need a gauge that will either do an audible alarm at 80 psi, and or notify me via Wi-Fi that it has reached that pressure, do you have such an animal with a 3/8 thread?
Dhud, my apologies, we do not.

DPG104S-30V, The manual does not really explain if the device is loop powered or has a seperate power supply and 4-20ma output
Dear Leonard, the unit will be DC powered, Power Supply: 13 to 30VDC
+ ve and - ve across last 2 pins on the terminal block from the left, please see manual attached below.

Is there a provision to on the gauge for an earth-ground wire? Please provide an image of the back of the gauge
We do not have a provision on the gauge for an earth ground, however we do recommend that you use shielded cable. The wiring instructions and diagram is in the product manual.

Can this gauge measure compressed air pressure while retaining stated accuracy of +/-0.25%? The description states hydraulic fluid.
The wetted parts on this gauge are 316 Stainless Steel and NBR (O-ring). It will work with any gas or liquid that is compatible with this material. Compressed air will be OK.

I will be measuring the inHg in a vacuum vessel and would like the alarm contacts to activate once the vessel reaches zero pressure so that I may close a valve. Do you have a part number for this?
Model number you would order is DPG104S-30V (0 to 30 inHg Vacuum). There are currently 6 pcs in stock for quick shipment
