Supported Applications
The ACI Litestak® series comprises stackable audible and visual alarm modules designed for gas detection systems, safety signaling, and security applications. These modular status indicators provide a dual-purpose alert system combining light signals with optional sound output to indicate process conditions or alarms in industrial environments.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The Litestak® series operates on 24 VDC power supply. The unit is rated for an ambient operating temperature range of 32-120°F (0-49°C). Enclosure protection meets NEMA 1 | IP 10 ratings, and the housing material consists of polycarbonate.
Performance specifications include:
- Light Source: Incandescent with a lamp life of 2,500 Hours
- Horn Output: Adjustable up to 75-77 dBa @ 10' (85-87 dBa @ 1m)
- Operating Current: LSL Light Modules draw 0.76 amps; the Piezoelectric Horn draws 70mA
- Input Types: Relay
Configuration Options
The series supports a modular configuration allowing up to five light modules or up to four light modules plus an optional sound module. The clear module or the sound module is always mounted at the top position of the Litestak® unit if used.
Light Module Options:
- Lens colors available: Amber, Blue, Clear, Green, and Red
- Modules feature impact-resistant polycarbonate lens halves that snap apart for maintenance and color interchangeability
- Individual modules may be set to either steady or flash using the optional Flasher Module (FSIG-K8285237A)
Mounting Bases:
- LSB Base: Supports surface mount or 3/4-inch NPT pipe conduit mounting
- LSBS Base: Designed for low profile surface mounting
Accessories and Components:
- Piezoelectric Horn (FSIG-LSH-024) provides the audible alert component
- The base is supplied with 24" wires (18 GA) for connection to power sources; light and sound modules are plug-in units pre-wired at the factory
Key Product Differences
Differences within the series are defined by module function, lens color, and mounting style:
- Light Modules (LSL): Distinguished by lens color codes: Amber (-024A), Blue (-024B), Clear (-024C), Green (-024G), and Red (-024R)
- Bases: The LSB model offers conduit or surface mounting, while the LSBS is a dedicated low-profile surface mount base
- Sound Module (LSH): A separate piezoelectric horn component that adds audible signaling to the visual stack
- Flasher: An optional accessory module used to convert steady light output to flashing operation
