Supported Applications

The Omega PSW-1110 series consists of cost-effective, digital miniature pressure switches designed for monitoring non-corrosive gases. These units provide PNP output switch control and feature a bright 4-digit, 7-segment display that indicates current pressure readings. The display can be programmed to turn red or green based on the switch state, complemented by two LED indicator lights showing when outputs are activated.

The series is engineered for compact installations where space is limited, offering ultra-compact dimensions and multiple pressure port orientations (horizontal and vertical) to facilitate installation in various locations. The device also measures media temperature, allowing users to select display units in either Celsius or Fahrenheit.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The PSW-1110 operates within an ambient temperature range of -10 to 60°C (14 to 140°F) and a media temperature range of 0 to 100°C (32 to 212°F). Storage is supported from -20 to 70°C (-4 to 158°F), with operating and storage humidity rated at 35 to 85% RH. The unit requires a power supply of 10-30 Vdc, consuming ≤80 mA.

Performance specifications include an accuracy of ± 1% FS and repeatability of ± 1% FS. Temperature measurement accuracy is specified as ± 2°C (± 4°F). The response time is 135 ms. Mechanical robustness includes a burst pressure rating of 300 psi, shock resistance of 100g (980 m/s²), acceleration tolerance of 10g (98 m/s²), and vibration handling from 10 to 500 Hz freq., 0.06" (1.5 mm) amplitude.

Configuration Options

The series supports a configurable envelope beyond the standard stocked variants, including additional pressure ranges, NPN outputs, alternate pressure port thread types, and liquid media compatibility options. The enclosure is constructed from ABS material with process connections made of Zinc Alloy. Electrical connection is provided via a 20" Cable with Flying Leads.

• Output Modes: Four options for output modes including hysteresis and window modes with high and low actuation methods. PNP outputs are fully programmable; NPN is available as an option.
