The B1098 family includes compact bimetal pocket test thermometers and refrigerator case thermometers, including NSF-listed models. Both styles use 1 inch dials and stainless steel cases, providing analog temperature indication for portable service checks, cold-storage equipment, and food-service applications.
B1098 pocket models have 5 inch stems and are available with domed or magnifying acrylic lenses. Magnifying-lens models use a recalibrator lug on the rear of the case, while domed-lens models use an external adjusting hex nut. Accuracy is ±1% of full range, and the selected configurations cover ranges from -40 to 500°F as well as 0 to 100°C. A plastic sheath and pocket clip support storage and portability.
B1098 pocket thermometers for refrigeration temperature ranges use a 1/4-28 connection, installation nut, recalibration hex nut, and 2.5, 3.5, or 5 inch stem.
