The Omega 2000 lbf load cell is too tiny.
We never used the Omega 2000 lbf load cell. It looked too small to hold-up to 2000 lbf with the gorillas that work on our system. We went with a more robust larger load cell instead that could stand more unintentional abuse. The typical load is ~ 700 lbf, however, someone could overload it by accident. If the load cell failed and the load dropped, I would never hear the end of it.

Easy Setup
It was easily set up with the DPS20-LV and initial testing seems to have went well.

Hello there, What is the maximum load rate the LC202-2k load cell can accurately measure? Is this load cell suitable for dynamic loading conditions/impulse such as 0N-8000N-4600N (2000lb model) in a matter of 15-30ms? Thank you!
Thank you for your inquire.
These load cells do not handle dynamic applications. They may work for a short period but they will fail after time and we do not recommend this type of usage.
Hope this was helpful.

What is the maximum deflection in millimeters for the LC202-5K when loaded with 5000lb?
Per our technotes, DEFLECTION IN COMPRESSION 0.006 TO 0.008" which translates to 0.1524 to 0.2032 mm

How do you compensated for temperature, and how much accuracy would I lose at -40deg F?
We use Wheatstone bridge for temp compensation. The CTR for this load cell is 16 to 71°C (60 to 160°F) with Accuracy: ±0.25% FSO linearity,
hysteresis, repeatability combined for this temp range. If you are out of this range at (-40°F) you will be out of the accuracy of ±0.25% FSO.

Does the LC202-10K load cell read in 1 pound increments or in fractions of a pound?
Anthony, the load cell will put out a linear mV across the range no matter what the load is. Assuming that the load cell puts out 0 to 30 mV across the range, a one pound load will result in a load cell output of 0.003 mV. Most data acquisition modules will not be able to adequately capture that low of a mV reading.
So, the resolution and how low of a load you are able to read will really depend on your data acquisition system.

What size conductors are in the cable?
Thank you for your inquiry, the conductor size is 28 AWG

Can this load cell be used in dynamic (high frequency) loading conditions? 0-peak 1500N at 400Hz?
Thanks for your inquiry
LCM202 Is not a good low cell to be used in a dynamic loading conditions .Please Contact us directly with more information about your application and we can make some recommendations for load cell that may be better suited for those conditions.

What is the weight of this load cell? And what is the full output scale?
Aysha, weight of the unit will be 0.440 pounds and the full span output will be 20 mV if you use 10 volts DC excitation over the span you choose.

How much of a side load or moment load can these sensors handle?
There is no published data indicating maximum side loading or moment. Side loading should be kept to a minimum.
