Supported Applications
The Dwyer Series SVE Solenoid Valve Enclosures are multi-valve enclosures designed for the RSV pilot valve. These units provide a weatherproof package with all solenoids pre-wired to a terminal block, intended to operate the Series RDCV remote type diaphragm valve. The system is configured for service with compatible gases that are filtered and oil free.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The series supports an ambient temperature range of -4 to 122°F (-20 to 50°C) and an operating temperature limit of -4 to 185°F (-20 to 85°C). Pressure limits for the RSV pilot valve are a minimum of 4.4 psi (0.3 bar) and a maximum of 124.7 psi (8.6 bar). The enclosure rating is NEMA 4X, with IP ratings documented as either IP65 or IP66 depending on the source document.
Power requirements for the RSV pilot valve are 110 VAC, 220 VAC, or 24 VDC. Power consumption is specified as 12 W, with an inrush of 17 VA and a holding current of 14.5 VA. The maximum pneumatic tube length supported is 9.8 ft (3 m).
Configuration Options
The Series SVE offers configurable options for solenoid quantity, voltage, and enclosure type to meet specific installation needs.

- Process Connections: The RSV pilot valve features a 1/8" female NPT process connection; the enclosure includes a 3/4" female NPT conduit connection.
- Mounting Orientation: Any position is supported.
The wetted materials for the RSV component include an aluminum body, 304 SS core and spring, and NBR seals. The enclosure dimensions vary by model: SVE06 units measure approximately 10-5/8" [270] x 4-11/64" [106] x 6-5/16" [160], while SVE12 units measure approximately 18-29/32" [480] x 4-11/64" [106] x 6-5/16" [160].
Key Product Differences
The series distinguishes between two primary enclosure sizes based on the quantity of solenoids housed:
- SVE06 Series: Enclosures containing 6 RSV pilot valves. Model examples include SVE06WP61 (110 VAC), SVE06WP62 (220 VAC), and SVE06WP63 (24 VDC).
- SVE12 Series: Enclosures containing 12 RSV pilot valves. Model examples include SVE12WP121 (110 VAC), SVE12WP122 (220 VAC), and SVE12WP123 (24 VDC).
Model nomenclature follows the pattern SVE, where the voltage code corresponds to 61 for 110 VAC, 62/122 for 220 VAC, and 63/123 for 24 VDC. The RSV pilot valves themselves are available with DIN connectors or wire leads (e.g., RSV1D vs. RSV1L).
