Supported Applications

The Model STDL-10 is a miniature, submersible temperature data logger built for environments where a compact, sealed instrument must travel with the product it is monitoring. Because the logger body is machined from 316L stainless steel (food grade), it is well suited to food and beverage processing, cold-chain handling, and other sanitary or wet-process settings where the recorder itself may be immersed.

Standing only 2.6" (66 mm) tall and 0.7" (18 mm) in diameter, the logger fits into confined spaces such as tanks, baths, and small vessels. Programmable high and low alarms, indicated by green and red LEDs, let operators confirm at a glance whether a monitored process stayed within limits, while the user-selectable sampling interval adapts the device to both short excursions and long unattended studies.

Note: before the device is submerged, the cap must be screwed on tightly to ensure the logger is properly sealed.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The STDL-10 records temperatures across a range of -40 to 176°F (-40 to 80°C), with an accuracy of ±0.9°F (±0.5°C) for 32 to 122°F (0 to 50°C) and a resolution of 0.2°F (0.1°C). It can store over 32,000 measurements, with a memory size of 32,767 readings.

Configuration Options

The STDL-10 series is offered as a single, self-contained configuration: the STDL-10 logger. Every unit provides the same submersible 316L stainless steel construction, the -40 to 176°F (-40 to 80°C) measurement range, programmable high/low alarms with green and red LED indication, and the 32,767-reading memory described above, so selection is a matter of the supporting software kit and consumable battery rather than differing sensor grades.

The logger is powered by a 3.6V ER14250 lithium metal battery that is installed and functional at shipment and is user replaceable, allowing the same device to be returned to service after the cell is exhausted.
