The Omega DA084 Series Vent Plug is a pressure compensation plug designed for tightly closed enclosures. It provides controlled changes in internal pressure to prevent the ingress of dust and humidity while maintaining an IP55 protection rating.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The device operates within an ambient temperature range of -45 to 70°C (-49 to 158°F), which also serves as its storage temperature limit. The housing is constructed from plastic according to UL94 V-0 standards and features a PG 29 thread with union nut for mounting.

Installation Requirements
To install, make a cut-out of Ø 37 + 1 mm (1.5 + 0.03") in the enclosure wall and mount the pressure compensation device with the nut. Ensure the sealing gasket is placed on the outer side panel of the enclosure.

- Model DA08400901: Vent plug with gasket, IP55 protection type. Weight is 62 g (0.14 lb) per piece.
The device comes complete with an operator's manual and includes a sealing gasket as standard equipment.
Recommended Configuration for Optimal Performance
- For optimal pressure compensation, use two devices mounted on opposite sides towards the top of the enclosure.
