ARMTO2-MEDIUM

Steel immersion heater with a 2-inch NPT male steel process connection, designed for heating medium weight oils. Features a 0.475-inch steel sheath and low watt density for efficient heat transfer. Equipped with an integral thermostat offering three temperature ranges. Available in 2 to 6 kW power options, compatible with 208, 240, or 480 V single-phase power. Ideal for industrial heating applications.

APPLICATIONS
Heating medium viscosity oil — Suitable for heating medium bodied oils such as industrial gear oils or numbers 4 and 5 residual fuel oils. Heating provides low ambient temperature protection, ensuring that oil remains fluid to lubricate effectively and reduce load on gear motor drives.

Please Note: This integral thermostat functions as a temperature control only. This is not a fail safe device. An approved pressure and/or temperature limit control should be used with these heaters to assure safe operation. See Section P for our selection of controllers.
