Supported Applications
The Series-Bottle by Isensix is a component of the Guardian Monitoring System, designed for environmental temperature monitoring in refrigerators and freezers. The system utilizes probes inserted into buffering solutions within bottles to measure ambient conditions inside storage units.
- Refrigerators (< -30°C)
- Freezers (> -30°C)
Operating Conditions & Performance
The Series-Bottle supports temperature measurement in two distinct operating ranges defined by the buffering solution used:
- Refrigerators (< -30°C): 70% Glycerin / 30% Water
- Freezers (> -30°C): 100% Alcohol
The Guardian Collection Point, which interfaces with the probe and bottle assembly, operates on direct AC power. In the event of a power loss, the unit switches to battery backup using three AA non-rechargeable batteries, providing an average runtime of 2 to 3 days.
Configuration Options
The Series-Bottle is available as part of the Guardian Monitoring System ecosystem, which includes specific accessories and configuration options:
- BTHR: Bottle Holder accessory for securing the bottle inside the storage unit.
- SENB: Sensor/Probe component used with the buffering solution.
The system architecture supports additional components including the Guardian Collection Point, Guardian Access Point, power supplies (AC and battery), Ethernet cables, zip ties, and Velcro tape. The Access Point features a 50ft service range and can connect up to 25 Collection Points wirelessly.
Connectivity & Installation
- Probe to Collection Point: 12-pin male and female connectors.
- Access Point to Network: Ethernet RJ45 connector via Ethernet cable; USB and USB-C ports available on the Access Point.
Key Product Differences
The Series-Bottle is offered as specific accessories (BTHR, SENB) within the Guardian Monitoring System. The system design requires the probe to be inserted into a buffering solution contained in a bottle, which is then secured using a Bottle Holder with zip ties and/or anchors.
- Collection Point mounting: Secured using dual locking Velcro Tape.
- Access Point placement: Recommended at eye level or higher, ideally no less than 8 ft from the floor.
The device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. It contains FCC ID: U90-RF220SU and IC: 7084A-RF220SU.
