The CRWS Series is rated for a maximum operating temperature of 982°C (1800°F). The heaters are constructed from high-quality, vacuum-formed ceramic fiber. Engineering notes indicate that units may shrink at higher temperatures; this shrinkage can be up to 4% for temperatures reaching 980°C. Additionally, there is a potential variance of ±1/4" in the size of the heaters.
Electrical configurations include dual 240 Vac circuits for specific models. Resistance tolerance is specified as ±5%. The series supports various wattage and voltage combinations available across the model range.

Unclear
It was not clear that ordering quantity one only provides half a cylinder. With a 6 week lead time, that has caused problems with our project.

What would the current inrush be on 7125 Watt; 240 Vac unit? And do you have any reccommendations to limiting the in rush in low fault current area that could cause momentary brown outs. Example Part: Item# CRWS-1821/240-A
A resistive load is defined as a device with its inrush and switch-off currents equal to the steady-state values. Therefore there is ZERO in-rush current.

they are 2 elements or just a half circumference?
Thank you for your question. The CRWS series heater is sold as one half cylinder. One element per cylinder.

Are the CRWS Series Semi-Cylindrical Ceramic Heaters CSA approved for Class 1 Zone 2 areas in Canada?
