The Dwyer Series KS Self-Adhesive Irreversible Temperature Labels are designed to monitor and verify temperature-specific operations, including climate conditions during storage and transit. These irreversible indicators provide a permanent visual record when exposed at or above the indicated temperature point.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The series functions as an irreversible indicator that permanently darkens upon exposure to temperatures within its specified range. The labels are self-adhesive, allowing placement on any smooth surface quickly and easily. They resist oil, water, and steam during operation.

Temperature Ranges by Label Style

The series offers multiple temperature ranges across three distinct label configurations:

• 8 Level Vertical Label (Models KS-0101 to KS-0105): 99 to 149°F (37 to 65°C), 160 to 230°F (71 to 110°C), 241 to 309°F (116 to 154°C), 320 to 390°F (160 to 199°C), and 399 to 500°F (204 to 260°C).
• 6 Level Horizontal Mini Label (Models KS-0201 to KS-0208): 84 to 108°F (29 to 42°C), 111 to 144°F (44 to 62°C), 149 to 199°F (65 to 93°C), 210 to 261°F (99 to 127°C), 270 to 320°F (132 to 160°C), 331 to 379°F (166 to 193°C), 390 to 450°F (199 to 232°C), and 465 to 554°F (241 to 290°C).
• 5 Level Clock Label (Models KS-0301 to KS-0308): 104 to 129°F (40 to 54°C), 140 to 180°F (60 to 82°C), 190 to 230°F (88 to 110°C), 241 to 280°F (116 to 138°C), 289 to 331°F (143 to 166°C), 340 to 379°F (171 to 193°C), 390 to 435°F (199 to 224°C), and 450 to 500°F (232 to 260°C).

Configuration Options

The Series KS is available in three physical formats, each with specific dimensions:

• 8 Level Vertical Label: Height of 2 [50.80] and width of 23/32 [18.44].
• 6 Level Horizontal Mini Label: Length of 1-1/4 [31.75] and height of 1/2 [12.70].
• 5 Level Clock Label: Diameter of 5/8 [15.88].

Packaging is standardized across the series, with each model supplied in packages containing 10 units.

Key Product Differences

Variation within the Series KS is defined by the label geometry and the specific temperature range indicated. The 8 Level Vertical Label provides five distinct high-temperature ranges starting at 99°F (37°C). The 6 Level Horizontal Mini Label offers eight ranges spanning from 84 to 554°F (29 to 290°C) in a compact horizontal format. The 5 Level Clock Label presents eight circular options covering temperatures from 104 to 500°F (40 to 260°C). Each model number corresponds to a single, specific temperature range.
