Supported Applications

The Dwyer Series A-IEF Remote Display is designed for use with Series IEF flow transmitters or IEFB thermal energy meters. It provides a remote display of process values and allows for configuration adjustments, particularly in hard-to-reach locations.

• Remote viewing of flow readings
• Setup and adjustment of IEF/IEFB units (full functional model)
• Saving configuration settings to a computer (full functional model)

Operating Conditions & Performance

The Series A-IEF operates within an ambient temperature range of -40 to 185°F (-40 to 85°C) for storage and supports operation in environments rated by the enclosure. The unit features a NEMA 4X (IP66) enclosure rating housed in powder-coated die-cast aluminum.

• Display: 3.3" diagonal graphic LCD with backlight (full display only)

Configuration Options

The series supports two primary configurations connected via a shielded cable up to 100 ft (30 m) long. Electrical connections utilize removable terminal blocks with #22 AWG wire.

Display Models

• A-IEF-FDSP-RM: Full functional remote display enabling setup, adjustment, and configuration saving.
• A-IEF-IDSP-RM: Indicator remote display for reading process values only.

Mounting & Housing

The unit is designed for wall or pipe mounting. The housing dimensions are 6.365 in width, 4.790 in height, and 3.976 in depth with a weight of 2.46 lbs (1.12kg).

The primary distinction between the two models lies in functionality:

• A-IEF-FDSP-RM (Full Functional): Includes a backlight and enables full setup, adjustment of the IEF/IEFB transmitter or meter, and saving configuration settings to a computer.
• A-IEF-IDSP-RM (Indicator): Provides remote viewing of process values without configuration capabilities; does not include a backlight.
