Supported Applications
The ACI RH-LCD series provides relative humidity monitoring with a backlit LCD display. The units utilize a thermoset polymer capacitive sensing element with an integral hydrophobic filter to deliver proportional analog outputs for space conditioning and environmental control applications.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The RH-LCD series measures relative humidity from 0% to 100% RH. Accuracy is available in +/- 2%, +/- 3%, or +/- 5% ranges, specified at 77°F (25°C) for the 10 to 95% RH span. The device operates within an ambient temperature range of 32°F to 104°F (0°C to 40°C). The operating environment is rated for 0 to 95% Relative Humidity (non-condensing).
Power requirements vary by output signal type:
- +12-40 VDC for 0-5V outputs
- +18-40 VDC for 0-10V and 4 to 20 mA outputs
- 20-28 VAC for all output types
The unit dimensions are (H) 4.56" (115.88 mm) x (W) 3.00" (76.19 mm) x (D) 1.45" (36.75 mm). The series holds CE and RoHS Compliant certifications.
Configuration Options
The RH-LCD series is configured with a white, wall-mounted enclosure featuring a hinged cover. All units include an integral keypad for onsite field calibration via single point offset programming. Standard output signals are 0-5 VDC, 0-10 VDC, or 4-20 mA.
Model numbers follow the format A/RH<Accuracy>-R-LCD-<Output>. Available accuracy classes include +/- 2%, +/- 3%, and +/- 5%. Output options correspond to:
- -010: 0-10 VDC
- -05: 0-5 VDC
- -420: 4-20 mA
For configurations requiring temperature measurement, set points, override signals, fan control, or system status outputs, the series documentation references the A/TUCH2 product data sheet. The standard interface includes a 4 Button Membrane (On/Off/Setup/Select).
Key Product Differences
Variants within the RH-LCD series differ primarily by accuracy class and analog output signal type.
- A/RH2-R-LCD: +/- 2% Accuracy (0-10 VDC, 0-5 VDC, or 4-20 mA)
- A/RH3-R-LCD: +/- 3% Accuracy (0-10 VDC, 0-5 VDC, or 4-20 mA; includes NIST option variants)
- A/RH5-R-LCD: +/- 5% Accuracy (0-10 VDC, 0-5 VDC, or 4-20 mA)
