Don’t go for second best.

My flowmeter was leaking at the valve on arrival
If you receive a defective flow meter like I did (leaking at the valve), there is a solution to fix it. I unscrewed the valve as far as I could and wrapped the threads with Teflon tape. When I put it back on line, it no longer leaked.
