The Dwyer Series ARK Pneumatic Actuator Repair Kit is designed for the maintenance and repair of Series ACT-DA and Series ACT-SR pneumatic actuators. These kits provide replacement components to restore actuator function, specifically addressing wear in sealing elements and spring mechanisms within these designated models.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The series meets the technical requirements of EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS II). As a repair kit containing consumable components rather than an active instrument, performance specifications such as pressure ratings, temperature ranges, or response times are defined by the host actuator model being serviced. The kits supply specific materials required for reassembly: FVMQ O-rings and stainless steel springs.

Configuration Options

The Series ARK is configured to match specific Dwyer Actuator models, ensuring component compatibility across the ACT-DA and ACT-SR families. Each kit includes a complete set of replacement parts tailored to its corresponding actuator size or type.

• O-rings: All kits include FVMQ O-rings for end caps (2), piston (2), stem (2), and adjusting bolt (2).
• Springs: Kits designated for ACT-SR actuators additionally include 10 stainless steel springs.

The model numbering follows the pattern ARK-, where the number corresponds to a specific Dwyer Actuator Model. For example, ARK-00 is paired with ACT-DA01, and ARK-14 is paired with ACT-SR02.

Model Compatibility

The series supports the following actuator pairings:

• Series ACT-DA (Double Acting): Models ARK-00 through ARK-10 correspond to actuators ACT-DA01 through ACT-DA11.
• Series ACT-SR (Single Spring Return): Models ARK-14 through ARK-25 correspond to actuators ACT-SR02 through ACT-SR13, with specific mappings such as ARK-14 for ACT-SR02 and ARK-25 for ACT-SR12.

Key Product Differences

The primary distinction within the Series ARK is the inclusion of stainless steel springs. Kits intended for ACT-SR actuators (models typically starting with ARK-14) contain 10 stainless steel springs in addition to the standard FVMQ O-ring set. Kits intended solely for ACT-DA actuators do not include springs, as these models utilize a double-acting configuration that does not require spring return components.
