Supported Applications
The Omega PHH444 Series is a handheld pH/mV/Temperature Meter and pH Electrode Kit designed for portable quality measurements. The series provides affordable, convenient solutions for basic pH or mV monitoring in field applications where portability and ease of operation are required.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The meter operates within a temperature range of 0~90 °C with a measurement accuracy of ±0.5 °C. It supports two primary measurement types: pH ranging from 0 to 14 and mV ranging from 414.12 mV to -414.12 mV. The instrument delivers an accuracy of ±0.02 pH + 2 digit with a resolution of 0.01 (pH). Automatic temperature compensation is standard, utilizing Thermistor 30K or 10K ohm sensors, or allowing manual entry at 25.0 °C.
Configuration Options
The series offers configurable options for data logging and power supply to accommodate different operational needs:
- Data Logging (PHH444-DL only): Includes an 8G SD memory card with auto-sampling intervals of 0, 2 secs, 5 secs, 10 secs, 15 secs, 30 secs, 60 secs, 120 secs, 300secs, 600 secs, 900 secs, 1800secs, and 1Hr. Manual data saving is available by pressing the ADJ button.
- Power Supply: Operates on AAA batteries x 3 pcs or an optional 9V AC/DC adaptor.
- Sensor Configuration: Supports NTC 10K (default), NTC 30K, or NOT (No Temperature probe) modes where the user enters temperature manually via a range of 0.0°C~90.0°C with a default of 25°C.
- Calibration: Features 3-point pH calibration using buffers at pH 4, pH 7, and pH 10 (adjustable ranges: 3.75 to 4.25; 6.75 to 7.25; 9.75 to 10.25).
- Physical Design: The meter measures 175 mm x 58 mm x 32 mm (With BNC connector) and includes a tripod receptacle mountable design.
Key Product Differences
The series consists of two distinct models with specific functional differences:
- PHH444: A handheld pH/mV/Temperature meter without data logging capabilities. It includes the meter, pH sensor, calibration solutions (pH 4, 7, and 10), a calibration certificate, three AAA batteries, and a rugged carrying case.
- PHH444-DL: A handheld pH/mV/Temperature meter kit with optional data logging functionality. This variant includes all standard accessories plus an 8G SD card for recording measurements at configurable intervals.

Can I disable the "15min shutoff" feature? I need to monitor a reaction over an 8 hour period. The data logging function would not be helpful if the meter keeps shutting off. Thanks.
Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, it cannot or does not have a disable feature available.

Do you have a different manual for the PHH444 other than what is available online? What is available online is the worst set of instructions that I have ever seen. Obviously translated from another language without any vetting for ease of understanding.
Thank you for your inquiry! Unfortunately, we do not have another manual for this unit. If you have any specific questions regarding setup or operation please feel free to contact us using the email flow@omega.com.
