Supported Applications

The Series AT-MSX ATEX/IECEx Approved Magnesense® Differential Pressure Transmitter is designed for monitoring pressure and air velocity in hazardous areas. The transmitter utilizes piezo sensing technology to provide long-term performance. It features the ability to select a square root output for use with pitot tubes and other similar flow sensors.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The Series AT-MSX operates within an ambient temperature range of -4 to 158°F (-20 to 70°C). Accuracy is specified as ±1% FSO, with stability rated at ±1% FSO/year. The device supports media compatibility for air and non-combustible, compatible gases.

Response time defaults to instantaneous or selectable 3 s without considering delay caused by Exd flame arrestors; delays up to 30 s from FS to zero may occur depending on model and ranges with STD pressure ports. Response is approximately 15 s with LD pressure ports on very low ranges.

Pressure limits vary by port/valve configuration: VS0 supports 10 kPa (one or both ports connected); VS1 supports 20 kPa (one port) and 15 kPa (both ports); VS2 supports 40 kPa (one port) and 20 kPa (both ports).

The series holds ATEX Certificate INERIS 21ATEX0033X and IECEx Certificate IECEx INE 21.0064X. Compliance includes:

The Series AT-MSX offers configurable options across enclosures, materials, ranges, and outputs. The housing material is aluminum with a texture epoxy coat RAL7038 finish.
