Supported Applications

The Dwyer Series AT-2000 ATEX/IECEx Magnehelic® Differential Pressure Gauge is a mechanical instrument designed to indicate positive, negative, or differential pressures in air and non-combustible, compatible gases. This series combines the standard Magnehelic sensing mechanism with a flameproof enclosure specifically engineered for use in hazardous locations.

Documented applications include environments requiring compliance with ATEX (0080 II 2G Ex db IIC T5, T6 Gb; II 2D Ex tb IIIC T75°C Db) and IECEx (IECEx INE 21.0064X) standards for explosive atmospheres.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The Series AT-2000 operates within an ambient temperature range of -6.67 to 60°C (20 to 140°F). A low-temperature option is available extending the limit to -28.8°C (-20°F).

• Accuracy: ±2% of full scale throughout range at 70°F (21.1°C); accuracy degrades in specific margins: ±3% on ranges including -0, -100PA, -125PA, and -10MM; ±4% on ranges including -00, -60PA, and -6MM.
• Enclosure Rating: IP66 (IP65 for versions VS1, VS2, and VL1).
• Housing Material: Aluminum enclosure with a glass window cover.

The gauge features duplicate 1/8" female NPT process connections for high and low pressure. Pressure limits vary by port configuration; standard ports (VS0) support up to 10 kPa, while LD ports (VL0) also support 10 kPa when both are connected.

Configuration Options

The series is configurable across multiple dimensions including enclosure type, range selection, temperature limits, and port/valve arrangements. The model number structure follows the pattern: AT - [Enclosure] - [Material/Config] - [Range] - [Temp Limits] - [Cover] - [Port Material] - [Port Config].

Available Ranges (Water Column)

The series supports differential pressure ranges from 0.05 to 160 w.c., including:

• Fine Resolution: .05 to 0 to .2, 0 to .25, 0 to .50, and up to 3.0 w.c.
• Standard Ranges: 4.0 through 160 w.c., with specific models for 8.0, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60, 80, 100, and 120 w.c.

Port & Valve Configurations

The series offers various port styles to manage response time and pressure limits:

• VS0 / VL0: Standard or Low Drag (LD) ports with no valve.
• VS1 / VS2: Standard ports equipped with standard valves; VS2 supports up to 40 kPa on one port connected and 20 kPa when both are connected.
• VL1: LD port with an LD valve, supporting up to 20 kPa (one port) or 15 kPa (both ports).

The Low Drag (LD) port configuration provides increased response time at low pressures. Port materials are available in brass or stainless steel.
