Dampened Process Gage, 0-20,000 psi, ±0.5% Accuracy, Dual Scale, 316L SS
- Liquid-free dampened movement minimizes the effect of vibration and the cost to maintain
- Stainless steel socket and Bourdon tube permit use in chemical applications
- High-accuracy gauge for applications requiring more precise measurement
- Models that support vacuum to high-pressure ranges provide a selection to meet specific applications
- Specified with high ambient and process temperature ratings means more robust uses and longer service-life
Product Overview
- Series ID Series-765
Supported Applications
The Dwyer Series 765 is a dampened process gage designed to minimize the effects of vibration without liquid filling. The series features a dampened movement, making it suitable for applications where high pulsation or vibration exists.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The Series 765 offers dual scale ranges (psi/kPa) with an accuracy of ±0.5% FS, meeting ANSI/ASME grade 2A standards. The gages are rated for ambient temperatures from -40 to 200°F (-40 to 93°C). Wetted materials consist of a 316L SS socket and Bourdon tube, providing compatibility with gases and liquids.
Pressure limits vary by range: 125% FS for ranges below 1500 psi; 115% FS for 2000 to 5000 psi; and 110% FS for ranges greater than 10,000 psi. The series supports measurement from full vacuum (30" Hg-0 VAC) up to 20,000 psi.
Configuration Options
The Series 765 is available with a 4-1/2" (114.3 mm) dial face housed in phenolic plastic with a safety blow-out back and polycarbonate lens. The enclosure rating is IP65 (NEMA 4).
Process Connections
- 1/4" male NPT
- 1/2" male NPT
Available Ranges
The series includes the following documented ranges:
- 30" Hg-0 VAC (-100 to 0 kPa)
- 0 to 30 psi (0 to 206 kPa) through 0 to 1000 psi (0 to 6800 kPa)
Note: For additional ranges, contact the factory.
Options and Accessories
- NISTCAL-PG1: NIST traceable calibration certificate
- FMR: Flush mounted ring
- SG45: Safety glass lens
The gage meets the technical requirements of EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS II).
Key Product Differences
Model numbers follow the format 765 - <RANGE> - <PROCESS CONNECTION> - <ADDITIONAL OPTIONS>. For example, 765-012N-FMR denotes a specific range code (01), process connection (2N for 1/4" male NPT), and option (FMR). The series is distinguished by its dampened movement mechanism compared to standard liquid-filled gages.
