The Omega NWHJR Series Clean Water Booster Heater is designed for water applications, specifically to supply hot water or boost water temperature in water distribution systems. The series identity defines these units as circulation heaters intended for use with water media.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The NWHJR series operates on 120 and 240V, Single Phase power supplies. Heating elements are specified as 0.315" dia. copper sheath elements rated at 80 W/in². The units incorporate an integral thermostat with a control range of 60 to 180°F. Process connections consist of a Pipe Inlet 1½ NPT and Pipe Outlet 1½ NPT.

Configuration Options

The series offers configurable options across pipe body materials, power ratings, voltage configurations, and terminal enclosure types to meet specific installation needs.

• Pipe Body Materials: Heavy Wall Carbon Steel (Galvanized Tank) or Brass Pipe Body.
• Power Ratings: 1.5 kW, 2 kW, 2.5 kW, and 3 kW options are available via specific model codes.
• Voltage Configurations: Models are offered for 120V or 240V operation; note that the 2.5 kW rating is listed only with 240V in brass body configurations, while carbon steel bodies offer both voltages across all power levels.
• Terminal Enclosures: E1 General Purpose (standard) and E4 Moisture Resistant (available).
• Electrical Connection: Removable Terminal Cover with a Conduit Opening 2.2 cm (0.875 in).

The series supports UL Listed certification, with CSA Certification available for most models except the NWHJRG-01-003P-E1 120V variant.

Key Product Differences

Variants within the NWHJR series are distinguished by pipe body material and power/voltage combinations. The model number guide follows the format: NWHJR - <Model Code> - <Number of Elements> - <kW Code> - <Terminal Enclosure Code>.

• Carbon Steel (Galvanized Tank): Identified by the "JRG" code in model numbers. Available in 1.5 kW, 2 kW, 2.5 kW, and 3 kW ratings for both 120V and 240V.
• Brass Pipe Body: Identified by the "JRB" code. Offered in 1.5 kW (120/240V), 2 kW (120/240V), 2.5 kW (240V only per table data), and 3 kW (240V only per table data).

Overall dimensions vary by power rating: units rated at 1.5 kW and 2 kW measure approximately 18 in x 12¾ in, while 2.5 kW and 3 kW models measure approximately 22 in x 16 in.
