The Omega HTWC Series consists of silicone rubber heating tapes designed for small-scale piping applications, including freeze protection and process temperature maintenance. The series is also utilized in plastic sheet bending operations.

Operating Conditions & Performance
The HTWC Series features an extruded silicone rubber outer sheath that provides moisture and chemical resistance. The heating element consists of fine-gage stranded resistance wires insulated with fiberglass yarn, completely enclosed within the silicone rubber extrusion.

Safety and Installation Notes
The heating tape must not be folded or rolled while heated. When used on a table top, the surface area where the tape is placed must be constructed of fireproof materials such as cement board to prevent burning wood or composition materials.
Configuration Options
The series offers two primary configurations: heating tapes with an integral percentage controller (HTWC100 Series) and models with a built-in thermostat set at 16 °C (60 °F) (HTWT101/HTWT102 Series). Both are available in multiple lengths to accommodate specific installation needs.

Heat Tape Experience
The HTWC that I have doesn't regulate the wattage by percentage. My unit doesn't activate any wattage until I pass the 85-90% mark at which point it gives full power to the tape. In order to regulate the heat, I then have to turn the dial back to about the 50% mark before the power cuts out on the tape. The only way to regulate the tape temperature is to tediously sit and toggle the unit on and off frequently. If you are looking for a regulated heat tape I would not recommend this product.

Arrived Broken
This showed up non-functioning after purchasing 2 day shipping. I could hear something rattling around in the controller. Turns out there was a set screw that had fallen out of one of the controller components, and I was able to repair it myself since I needed it rapidly. Works well now.
