Supported Applications
The Omega CR027 Series consists of compact DIN rail mountable vertical enclosure fan heaters utilizing PTC technology. These units are designed to maintain minimum operating temperatures in enclosures and prevent condensation and corrosion.

Operating Conditions & Performance
The series operates on a 120 Vac power supply and features an integrated adjustable thermostat with ranges of 32 to 140°F or 0 to 60°C. Heating power adjusts automatically relative to ambient temperature; for example, at -20°C (-4°F), the 650 W heater delivers 800 W while the 550 W model provides 700 W. At an ambient of 30°C (86°F), output drops to 550 W and 450 W respectively.

Configuration Options
The CR027 Series is available in two power configurations with selectable thermostat scales. The housing material is Plastic, UL94V-0, and the unit includes a built-in temperature limit overheat protection for fan failure scenarios.
- Housing & Mounting: Designed to clip onto 35 mm DIN rail (EN 50022). Overall dimensions are 165 H x 100 W x 128 mm D (6.5 x 3.94 x 5").
- Electrical Connection: 2-pole terminal, 2.5 mm² (AWG 14 max).
- Status Indication: LED function control light.
- Accessories: XBANS3575P DIN rail 35 x 7.5 mm x 2 m (1.4 x 0.30" x 6') slotted is available for mounting support.
Key Product Differences
The series distinguishes between two wattage ratings and two thermostat display units:
- CR2700900 / CR2701900: Models with adjustable thermostats calibrated in 32 to 140°F.
- CR2700901 / CR2701901: Models with adjustable thermostats calibrated in 0 to 60°C.
The 550 W models (CR27009xx) weigh 0.9 kg (2 lb), while the 650 W models (CR27019xx) weigh 1.1 kg (2.4 lb). For outdoor applications, it is recommended to double the heating power.
