Supported Applications
The Dwyer Model OSC-200 Omnidirectional Occupancy Sensor is designed to automatically control HVAC ventilation systems. Utilizing infrared technology and a spherical Fresnel lens, the sensor provides a 360° detection zone for occupancy monitoring in ceiling-mounted installations.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The Model OSC-200 operates within an ambient temperature range of -4 to 140°F (-20 to 60°C). The sensor detects movement at speeds between 0.33 and 9.8 ft/s (0.1 to 3.0 m/s) with a detection diameter of 34.4 ft (10.5 m) when mounted at a height of 13.8 ft (4.2 m). The recommended mounting height range is 7.9 to 13.8’ (2.4 to 4.2 m).
Power requirements are specified as 22-26 VAC/DC, with power consumption of 5 mA in standby and 18 mA during operation. The control output rating is SPDT, 0.2 A @ 30 VDC.
Configuration Options
The series includes configurable ON/OFF delay settings to prevent false activation from short-term occupancies via an integrated dual delay processor. Available delay configurations include:
- ON Delay Options: 0 Sec., 10 Sec., 30 Sec., 1 Min., 5 Min., or 10 Min.
- OFF Delay Options: 10 Sec., 1 Min., 5 Min., 10 Min., 20 Min., or 30 Min.
The sensor is pre-wired with five wires (BROWN, GREEN, WHITE, RED & BLACK) compatible with 22AWG cabling. The unit carries CE compliance certification and features a dual-element infrared sensor.

The Model OSC-200 is an omnidirectional ceiling-mount occupancy sensor distinct from the wall-mounted OSW-100 model found in related documentation.
