The Omega Enviroline® Series SCE-EL2door consists of NEMA Type 4, two-door steel electrical enclosures designed to house electrical and electronic controls, instruments, and components. These units provide protection from dust, oil, and water ingress. The series is recommended for outdoor applications when equipped with a drip shield.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The enclosure construction utilizes 0.104" carbon steel featuring continuously welded and ground smooth seams. An oil-resistant gasket ensures sealing integrity, while the finish consists of ANSI-61 gray powder coating applied inside and out over phosphatized surfaces; optional panels are powder coated white.

Configuration Options

The Enviroline® Series offers specific hardware features designed for installation, security, and maintenance:

• Hinges & Doors: Concealed hinge design with removable/inchangeable doors. No door stiffeners are required.
• Latching Mechanism: Black quarter turn latches included as standard.
• Security Hardware: Padlocking or keylocking handle featuring a 3-point operating mechanism and tamper-resistant hardware is included.
• Maintenance & Mounting: Lifting eyes for easy handling, ground studs on the door and body, collar studs provided for mounting optional panels, removable centerposts, and provision for mechanical interlock.
• Floor Stands: 12" removable floor stands are included.

The model number guide follows the format SCE-<HEIGHT>EL<WIDTH><DEPTH>LPPL, such as SCE-60EL4812LPPL, where height, width, and depth values correspond to the specific configuration.
