SCE-FSDAD

Supported Applications

The Omega SCE-FSDAD Series consists of NEMA Type 3R and 12 free-standing, two-door electrical enclosures designed to house electrical and electronic controls and instruments. These dual-access units provide protection from dust, dirt, water, and oil.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The series is constructed of 0.104" Carbon Steel with continuously welded seams. Enclosures feature a white powder coating finish inside and an ANSI-61 recoatable gray finish outside over phosphatized surfaces. The enclosure rating includes NEMA Type 3R, Type 12, and Type 13; UL Listed Type 3R and 12; CSA Type 3R and 12; and IEC 60529 IP 55.

A critical operational requirement is that a drip shield is required to meet NEMA 3R ratings. The series includes an oil-resistant gasket, lifting eyes, and a black zinc die-cast keylocking/padlocking handle with a 3-point latching mechanism.

Configuration Options

The SCE-FSDAD Series is offered in multiple dimensions to accommodate varying interior space requirements. The series supports the following configurations:

• SCE-724824FSDAD: 72.00 inch height, 48.00 inch width, 24.00 inch depth
• SCE-726024FSDAD: 72.00 inch height, 60.00 inch width, 24.00 inch depth
• SCE-726036FSDAD: 72.00 inch height, 60.00 inch width, 36.00 inch depth
• SCE-727224FSDAD: 72.00 inch height, 72.00 inch width, 24.00 inch depth
• SCE-907224FSDAD: 90.00 inch height, 72.00 inch width, 24.00 inch depth

The enclosures feature removable/interchangeable doors and mounting channels. A flange trough collar is included for conduit entry.

Options & Accessories

• Drip Shields: SCE-DS48N4 (for 48" wide), SCE-DS60N4 (for 60" wide), and SCE-DS72N4 (for 72" wide)
• Panels: Optional powder coated white panels

Key Product Differences

The primary variation within the series is dimensional, specifically in height and depth. While the standard finish includes a gray exterior over phosphatized surfaces with an interior white powder coat, optional panels are available in powder coated white.
