Supported Applications

The Omega AM-2250TX is a loop-powered, multi-parameter transmitter designed for industrial and municipal water quality monitoring. It measures pH, ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential), Conductivity, and Flow parameters using compatible AquaMetrix sensors.

  • pH measurement with 6-wire differential or combination sensor inputs
  • ORP measurement supporting -999 to +999 mV ranges
  • Contacting conductivity measurements from 0.055 to 500,000 µS/cm (depending on cell constant)
  • Pulse output flow monitoring via paddle-wheel or magnetic flow meters

Operating Conditions & Performance

The AM-2250TX operates within an ambient temperature range of -20 to 70 °C and supports process temperatures from -20 to 120 °C for pH, ORP, and conductivity applications. The unit is rated for humidity levels between 0 to 90% Relative Humidity, non-condensing.

Configuration Options

The AM-2250TX is configured as a transmitter without relay outputs or backlit LCD displays, distinguishing it from AC-powered controller variants in the series. It provides one scalable analog output and supports various sensor configurations.
